Surface electromyography or sEMG examines and measure muscle tension, the amount of electrical activity in the muscles. A sEMG Spinal Scan examination is similar to an EKG exam which measures heart muscle activity. It is non-invasive and does not cause pain or irritation. This makes it safe for infants, children, pregnant women and seniors. It simply requires the placement of small electrodes against the skin and is over in a few minutes.

Much like an EKG exam can help determine the health of your heart, the spinal scan results can provide important physiological information. Based on the scan results as well as other diagnostic tools, our Chiropractic doctors will determine the proper course of care and measure your response to the care program, documenting your health more effectively and effectively tracking your progress over time.
